Day 2 After breakfast we will set out for a walking tour of Hoi An. Our experienced local guide who knows every single corner of Hoi An will give you an unforgettable walk in this world heritage listed town. You then have time to check out the tailors, shoe makers, etc… before lunch. In the afternoon, we take the local ferry across to Cam Kim island where bikes are waiting for you. This is one of your guide’s favourite cycling routes with beautiful countryside, rice paddies, fishing villages, …. We will pick a local school to give the kids English lessons and school supplies. Be prepared with your camera to capture their happy smiling faces. We cycle down different lanes around the village, then back to the ferry and hotel. Dinner will be at a local restaurant (B, L, D)
Day 3 After breakfast, we cycle out of Hoi An through local villages where flower, vegetable, Kum Quat… garden are being tendered - you will be more than welcome to leave your bike and have a closer look and even help them with work if you wish. These places are where you can expect wonderful interactions with the locals. Leaving the villages around noon - now its time for BBQ sea food lunch out on the Cua Dai beach ( made famous during the American war). Enjoy the warm water before we cycle back to the town to re-visit the tailors or relax at the hotel. Dinner tonight is at another famous Vietnamese restaurant in town (B, L, D)
Day 4 Today is a challenge, check out the hotel after breakfast and we take a scenic drive to Nam O fishing village where our bike ride starts. Cycle leisurely around this sleepy village, to warm up. Now lets go up hill !!! Cycling up the Hai Van pass, there are several view points to take photos of the fantastic views back across Da Nang city and out over the ocean. When you reach the summit at 500 metres, we have a refreshment break and you might get to see a former VC who is living there with his family. You will get amazing stories from him while we wander around the old fighting bunkers which are leftover from the wars. If you feel weary and don’t want to ride down the pass then our support van will be ready to take you down to Lang Co town, otherwise you cycle down, making several stops for the views. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant by the water. After lunch, we will cycle around the scenic Lang Co lagoon where you can photo the shrimp farms and houses on stilts, continuing on to your beautiful beach resort. Dinner at local restaurant (B, L, D)
Day 5 After breakfast, check out and we drive you to Dai Giang bridge where we will start our ride today along the coastline to Hue- the Ancient Capital of Viet Nam, before World War II. We cycle through peaceful countryside and see locals at work. Arrive in Hue for lunch at a local restaurant. We drive you to the hotel, check in and relax before we go out to a sunset cruise on the Perfume River. Tonight, dinner is at the family house of historian Phan Thuan An which used to be occupied by Princess Ngoc Son (B, L, D)
Day 6 Today, its a short drive to our starting point in the countryside, we will cycle through local villages, rice paddies, vegetable gardens, temples, markets, etc... to the Imperial Citadel. Here we leave your bikes and our guide will give you a walking tour of the site before we go to lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, we will cycle to see more countryside including the Thanh Toan wooden bridge, canals, fishermen's boats made from wreckage from the wars. You will be driven back to the hotel, relax and farewell dinner tonight at the local restaurant (B, L, D)
Day 7 After breakfast, check out of the hotel and be transferred to Hue airport for you to continue on your holiday in Viet Nam (B)
